A Huge thanks to LUSH Basingstoke

Recently we were contacted by the LUSH store in Basingstoke asking if we would be interested in providing a display of our activities which would be linked to the sale of their charity body lotions. The proceeds, other than VAT, would go entirely to us to support our efforts. Given the distance between us in Hamble and the store in Basingstoke we were delighted that we had come to their attention when researching for causes that matched their own criteria.

We organised a display over the long weekend of 5-6 April and we are extremely grateful to the LUSH staff for their efforts on our behalf and the funding that was raised over the weekend. While all our volunteers are unpaid, indeed we are in part self funded by our volunteers, we do have a continued need for finance to pay for insurance, training, tools and protective clothing.
