The relaxation in Covid restrictions has enabled us to re-engage with ours tasks and one of the first was a refurbishment of the circular oak bench on the Hamble foreshore near the lifeboat station. Although oak is famed for its durability it is not maintenance free and it does require annual maintenance. Our team sanded down the bench and then applied colour restorer bringing the best out of the grain of the oak. It is a popular resting place and we hope that with our efforts it will continue to provide pleasure for many years. The annual refurbishments are carried out for Hamble Parish Council who provide us with power for our various tools.
