Many of you will already know about the Great British Spring Clean which is organised annually by Keep Britain Tidy (KBT).  Last year we arranged the Hamble clean ups on behalf of the Parish Council and events were held in March and April.  There was an excellent turnout and we recovered a very significant amount of rubbish from the village.

This year Hamble Parish Council has asked us to repeat the events and we were planning for events in April.  However, I am sure you will not be surprised to hear that with Corona virus on the ramage it has been decided to postpone the clean ups until September.

Please keep a look out for updates on the new dates, meeting points and timings.

If everyone behaved sensibly with rubbish this type of task would be unnecessary but the reality is that we face a continuous effort to control rubbish in Hamble.
